Do you have a lucky number? Mine is 22. Mainly because both the Mr. and I have birthdays on the 22nd. He’s February, I’m November. We tried to get married on the 22nd, but it just didn’t work out.
My lucky number makes an appearance here and there in my decor, like on this old adding machine key that I keep among my colored pencils.
Or this enamel number (purchased at the Round Barn) on the hutch in my craft room.
Sometimes I kind of fake it, like I did with these old billiard balls.
And these sweet little numbers (also from the Round Barn) that hang in a window.
While I am traveling, I also keep an eye out for my lucky number. I simply had to get a shot of this tram while we were in Prague a few years ago.
I was hoping for a no. 22 tram in Budapest, but this is the closest I got.
I did see quite a few other 22’s on my recent vacation though.
My potentially larcenous side tried to assert itself every time I saw one of these. Oh, how I would have loved to have just one as a souvenir!
Too bad I left all of my screwdrivers at home!
It seemed as though I was surrounded by my lucky number in Germany.
Maybe it was a sign (pardon the pun), a good omen for my trip.
How about you, do you have a number that always brings you luck?
Learn something new every day. Now that I know your lucky number, I will be watching for it too…maybe some will rub off on me! 🙂 I would love to have a lucky number, but so far, no number has popped up and declared itself.

I too am a November 22nd birthday. It is an unforgettable day in history but I loved it as a kid because Christmas was close. More presents close to my birthday seemed such a bonus. I even like having my birthday on Thanksgiving when it falls that way. But my lucky number is 7. It just feels right but no particular special reason.

Happy belated birthday fellow birthday girl! I have to confess, I don’t especially love it when our birthday falls on Thanksgiving since it means I’m getting pumpkin pie instead of cake ;-( LOL. But, as far as the unforgettable day in history, I was born on the exact day. (For those of you reading who may be too young to immediately know what we are talking about, it’s the assassination of JFK.) My mom did not find out what was going on until she was back in the recovery room after I was born, and she wondered why everyone was acting so strangely. It must have been a day of extremely mixed emotions for her.

Hmmm….nope no lucky number that I am aware of although my husband swears it is November 11th the day we met. Actually I have never known anyone claiming to have have a “lucky number”. So you are the first to have such fame in my little world.
Think it’s cool though and love the numbers scattered around your home signifying it.
