a very merry.

Just wanted to take a moment to wish a very merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate the holiday.

I’ll be making merry with family and friends this weekend and feeling grateful for all of the amazing people I have in my life, including all of you!

But I’m not gonna lie, I hope Santa brings some fun stuff to fill up my Christmas stocking too.

      1. Yes, Victoria, they are made from vintage quilts. Don’t you think Linda deserves a roomy stocking for being so good this year?

  7. Didn’t have time to stop by yesterday so I just enjoyed Meggan’s post. I am so impressed with her thrifting skills. I was amazed at each suitcase was so frugally put together and very well done. I thrift shop sporadically and although I have made a few scores nothing on the scale she has achieved. Thank you for sharing it motivates me to step up my expeditions in the coming year.
Linda I Love your vignette with those stockings they are so sweet. And where did you find the cotton? Is that what that is? Love that too! Thanks for the gift of your blog I truly enjoy it.
Three of my four children are home for Christmas this year. My daughter in law is due with our second grand the first of February so she could not fly from Alaska to South Carolina this year. Thank goodness for FaceTime!
Merry Christmas to you and Michael!

    1. I’d been finding a lot of cotton bole swags and wreaths, but they all had silver glittery pieces mixed in (JoAnn Etc and Hobby Lobby both had them). I didn’t want glitter, so I held out and finally found this swag at a shop in Stillwater, MN called the Stillwater Farm Store and I love it. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with 3 out of 4 Victoria!

    1. That is Miss Mustard Seed milk paint in Kitchen Scale. I put a top coat of hemp oil on it when I painted it, which was about 2 1/2 years ago now. The hemp oil will darken up the color a bit.
